Sony Commander RMT-P1BT with A7r V

Has anyone tried using the Sony bluetooth remote shutter RMT-P1BT with the new A7r V? I had a 3rd party bluetooth remote shutter for my A7r IV that does not work on the new camera with the new pairing setup. Oddly my prior remote is claimed to work by B&H on the new camera, but it does not. I'm looking for a remote that does work on the A7r V.

Yeah, me too. Went through all the troubleshooting steps, but still no go. A solution would be welcome.

I just used mine the other night on my Sony a7rV with no problems. Check the initial setup.

I just got AODELAN RMT-P1BTA remote for Sony, it's $27, it works fine except the focus and zoom buttons don't seems to be supported on A7RV, but AF-ON and C1 works, camera shutter work half press to focus and full press to take picture and video recording works too, you have to go to Bluetooth then pairing and Press the shutter and the + and hold them until it connect to the camera, I hope this helps
