TomVont
Back in December I upgraded from the A7RII to the A7RV. Started using the new body with my basic 50mm f/1.8 lens before deciding on what lens to buy. The AutoFocus is incredible for the type of photography I do, which is automotive and motorcycles mostly. Here is an example image that was only color corrected within Lightroom. After seeing how incredible the body itself is with a cheap lens, the great debate began of what would be the best lens for this body. Looked at the 24-70 f/2.8 GM, 35mm f/1.4 and Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 Art. It was a long and difficult debate. All three are great lenses but ultimately decided on the Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 Art, and boy was that a great choice. Used it and got some crazy results. Below is a color corrected and clone stamped image using the Sigma. Morale of the story is, the A7RII AutoFocus is junk for any sort of action photography but does fantastic with anything that is still. If you own an older Alpha model that isn't the A7RIV, the A7RV is absolutely worth the upgrade. I'm beyond excited and motivated to take photography serious again. #Alpha 7R V (Alpha7RV) Products Used Alpha 7R V (Alpha7RV)Cameras
