JorgeHO02
hello dear Community,I got a GM lens 35mm f1.4 recently and I shoot on Sony alpha R IV. I have had some weird results when I am shooting with this lens under low light situations. The picture shows vertical darker bars. Does anybody know why this is happening? I would not think that there is a problem with the lens (maybe just light conditions and shutter speed make that happen). But if someone knows pls let me know. Thank you!!! #FE 35mm F1.4 GM #Alpha 7R IV (a7RIV) Products Used Alpha 7R IV (a7RIV)Cameras FE 35mm F1.4 GMLenses FE 35mm F1.4 GMLenses Alpha 7R IV (a7RIV)Cameras
IraBlock
You my friend are getting banding from using a high shutter speed under cheap LED lights.!!!
tonygale
As @IraBlock said it looks like banding from the lights, you can try mechanical shutter which should help. A slower shutter speed sometimes helps as well
CarolineJensen
Would anti-flicker help, or is this something else?
Drew_Geraci
Looks like frequency banding; likely due to the type of shutter you're using (digital vs mechanical). You'll need to drop the shutter speed below 1/60th of a second to remove them next time too.
