casting flaw??

Picked up A7III with a noticeable line by back of camera. Display model has fine line mines a little prouder is actually goes to bottom. I Assume this is casting variance. Opinions?

Oooo that's a new one. Definitely a flaw or a defect, however, I don't believe it would cause anything bad to happen technically (like lack of weather sealing) - just looks off. You can always contact Sony Pro Support though if you're a member and have them look at it.
