jb Posted April 21 Share Posted April 21 Compatibility Information for the older a9 and a7 III cameras shows they are "Compatible, but with restrictions" related to newer lenses like the FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II and FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS. What exactly does that mean?There were firmware updates for those cameras related to "Aperture Drive in AF" and OSS "Mode 3". Are the cameras completely compatible with those new lens features as long as they have the firmware updates? Or are there still some limitations?
