Question about bracketed focus on the A7RV

Is there a way to do this with strobes? The bracketing happens so fast, but there must be a way? Has anyone used strobes for this? Are there settings I need to change?

I would have the same question for the new a6700. It has focus bracketing, but will that only work for natural light or, perhaps, continuous lighting?

Yep. I guess bracketing lets you use less light in theory, as you can use a slower shutter, but I'd like to use it with strobes and just get the best and sharpest deep depth of field possible.

I am able to use an external flash (slow to recharge) with Alpha Focus Bracketing, by setting the right shots delay.

I haven’t tried it with strobes, but fast recycling ones is the key here. Another idea is to use constant light eliminating the issue all together. And since this would require a tripod, slow shutter speed and lower ISO is achievable.
