I set my business up as an LLC so my business and personal are separate. I have a CPA that does all my payroll and taxes beacause I know nothing about that stuff, so find one you trust that will take care of you. I don’t use contract and never have. I know that is a big thing, but I feel like if someone wants to

I also require every client to pay half the shoot fee up front for seniors and commercial so both sides take it seriously. And they dont get their photos once they are ready if they dont pay the balance.

Keep in mind rules are different for every state as far as taxes and legal stuff goes.
