Flipped screen and viewfinder behaviour in A7iv and A7Rv

Hi everyone,
I noticed today that when you flip the screen (to protect it) in the A7Rv the viewfinder is disabled (you get closer and it is still Off). However when you do the same thing in the A7iv, you can get closer to the viewfinder and it activates.

Both cameras have the same settings:

• "Setup->Finder/Monitor->SelectFinder/Monitor" set to AUTO

Is this normal in the A7Rv? or is it any config setup that I'm ignoring which enables the viewfinder when the screen is flipped?
