Composite Raw Shooting on the Sony A9iii

I'm having trouble getting raw composite processing for images taken by the new A9iii camera. I'm using Sony Imaging Edge Desktop software. The imaging files were downloaded from an Express A card rather than directly from the Sony Camera. I set the menu for SHOOTING >COMPOSITE RAW SHIFT > NR Shooting Settings > NR Shooting (on), Number of shots (4).  

I imported the images from the Lexar Express A card to the latest version of Lightroom. I then installed Sony Imaging Edge Desktop Software viewer and browsed to the Lightroom Pictures Directory. I loaded the folder of 200 images taken with the Alpha 9 iii. I followed the instructions using the instructions in the Image Edge Desktop help menu.

At the end of processing, I was told that "An error occurred. Processing of 2024-03-23-untitled.ARW was skipped."

No matter what I changed, I could not convince the software to make a composite of the raw files. I selected several images, which didn't work. I selected one image, which didn't work. 

Any suggestions?
