We're planning to use a tracker with the Sony 600mm G Master on it for a timelapse of the entire event, and then I'll also use a Sony 100-400mm G Master for the different phases leading up to and after totality!

What lens are u planning to use for shooting the eclipse?

You won't need a filter during totality but you'll *definitely* want a solar filter for photographing the sun during the partial eclipse leading up to totality (and again after totality)
