Totality photographs really similar to blue hour, in my experience, so it's actually not too difficult! You'll need higher ISO (or slower shutter) than broad daylight, but it's easier than standard astrophotography IMO. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I did a landscape composite for the 2017 total solar eclipse that you can see here. It doesn't get darker than blue hour really, as Nate said!
