Should I risk putting the 600mm in this Nanuk carry-on case?

Hi alpha fam! I need some guidance on cases. I've been looking for a small sturdy case for my 600mm lens for a while.

I finally found a Nanuk carry-on that seemed perfect on paper however there is still a gap to close the lid. If I apply slight pressure I can close the clasp. Should I risk putting my lens in this carry on?

I wouldn't personally travel with it packed as pictured above.

I've flown with a 600/4 several times in a ThinkTalk Airport Security roller and had no concerns.

Thank you for the recommendation Kevin! That Think Talk looks good! I will try checking if they have a hard case version.

I reconfigured the packing of the Nanuk and I think it will work... I added in thin wrappers to cushion the lenses. 

Right now i think it meets international carry on reqs now
