I want to do time lapse photos of blooming flowers, which require minutes between shots, so I need to get an intervalometer. I see many cheap options, but I want to do this right. Which ones do you all use? @Drew_Geraci ?
I have noticed that upscaling software has become VERY good. I have used enlarging software for years to upsize images for stock, but now I see that a pretty low res image on IG can be blown up huge easily. Every year, the software gets better. Do any of you worry that sharing on social will cut into your profits of print sales? Do you worry about nefarious people stealing and selling your images? I have had people reach out and admit they have taken my images to use and I think many people don't even see the harm in it.
Are you planning on selling your images? I always wonder what the income stream is for landscape photographers. I fear sharing too much on social as I wonder if people just take and upsize the images.
Metadata can be so hard! For me, it is just remembering to do it and using the spray can in Lightroom to apply the same keywords to all relevant images. The new AI integrations for editing programs is great too. I like that I can put in 'pink flower' and all images will be shown. It is very helpful!
Hi, everyone! I will be doing photowalks and shooting demos with Sony and Unique Photo at the Philadelphia Flower Show! I will be doing an 8am photo walk each day and then shooting demos in the Unique Photo booth each day too. I'd love to see all my flower friends there!
