One of my favorite tips is to pull movie stills into Photoshop and analyze the colors. It is a more precise way to 'get under the hood' of the color grading and handling of highlights and shadows.
Yes! I totally agree. I have figured out how to make and sell things that have nothing to do with photography or prints, but I want my photography to stay relevant too. It's a weird thing to navigate!
I only turn that on for specific things because of the limitations. If you always shoot certain subjects that need that feature, then I would leave it on.
