  1. I totally agree. It's capable of so many things! To be able to fly G Master lenses on a body like the A1??? YES PLEASE! We used it all over this new Sony G-Master episode - .
  2. Hey there Sony Alphers! We just dropped a new G-Master Lens episode on Sony Alpha youtube. I directed, shot and edited this one. I'm very proud of it. It's not often that a filmmaker can make branded content like this with complete creative control. Thanks Sony!!!! What an honor. Please let me know what you think or is you have any creative questions? Also - Shot the whole piece on the new A7R5! Cheers - Andy Mann

I think you found it. I also just adjust the temperature sensitivity level to high and don't seem to have any issues!
  4. We just launched a new Sony Alpha "G-Master Perspectives" episode following photographer L. Renee Blount through the world's largest cave, Son Doong Cave, in Vietnam. We filmed the whole spot on the new A7RV. Let me know what you think! Cheers!

  8. It's an incredible landscape camera. The best there is IMO! Beautiful shots. Thanks for sharing!
  9. Hey Matt! Good question! I'd definitely say 12-24 if I'm ever that lucky with a curious creature, haha. Otherwise it's just hard to top the 600 f4. What a lens!
  10. I wish i could have made it to the event! I was lucky to work with the camera early, helping to create the launch video. It's truly amazing and I can't wait to get ahold of my own!
  11. Hey Ira! For me, it's a chance to set myself for fleeting underwater wildlife moments and my ability to grab 60+ megapixel images AND 4K 60fps video. What a time to be a storyteller!
  12. Awesome shots Monica. Love the top one! It's a great camera, eh??? I love the flip out screen as mentioned by Ira as well as the ability to dial in exact shutter speeds in video.
  13. Hey Everyone! Hoping on the say "happy launch week!." The A7RV really is a beast of a camera. I was lucky enough to use it for a few weeks, shooting the a bunch of the launch video for Curt Morgan and Sony Alpha Films. Let me know what you thought of the video and if you have any questions around locations, kensing, settings, etc. Cheers! - Andy Mann
  14. SLog3 (PP8) has been my go to for may projects including the new launch video for the A7RV!
  15. Myself and the SeaLegacy team are currently underway with production for Season 2 of Sony's 'The Voyage" following myself, Paul Nicklen, Cristina Mittermeier and our local partners aboard our solar-powered sailboat, working on conservation projects at sea. Just curious if anyone tuned into those episodes and what you thought about the series!? Check one out here if interested -
  16. PP8! I find it has the most workable range when color-correcting in post.
  17. Hey David! Excited to see the films! Those are great setups!
  18. I love Photocraft in Boulder, CO and Bay Photo in SanFran!
  19. I like using the viewfinder but I use the monitor more often as I am ALWAYS changing my angles and often from low perspectives...
  20. Hi Alpha users!!!! Andy Mann here, Sony Artisan of Imagery, and user of Sony's mirrorless systems since 2014 for filmmaking.
