Somewhere in Mexico just outside of Cabo San Lucas. The area is known for its surfing and this was an instructor who didn't mind me taking some portraits of her. I decided to feature the rocks instead of the water in this shot. If you like this image I have more of her. #FE 24mm F1.4 GM
Just got back from my Cuba workshop- one of my best workshops ever. Not only some amazing photos but just a good time hanging with my photo buddies and connecting with the Cuban community! How can you beat $1 Mojitos?? Love to take another group if interested. Here is some BTS, I will post more amazing images later. I I used the entire trip was my A7iv and a 24-70mm https://fb.watch/gmkEVA3NJM/ #Alpha 7 IV (a7IV) #FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II
I love using this pose with a wide angle lens and shooting waist up. I'm using the Sony 24-70mm F2.8 GMii. Posing Tip: The male partner was a lot taller, to make this pose work I told him to spread his legs to lower his position about 4 inches. This was the first time shooting a couple's session in Banff, Canada. A breath-taking environment with the teal blue water and majestic mountains can't be beat! Such a joy to be able to shoot landscape portraits. I'm typically in urban locations.
I think mostly when there is strong compositional elements, dramatic lighting yet the background has a lot of detail or colors that throw off the eye. So BW creates more simplicity in the photo and relies on those other elements.
Paris is often referred to as the City of Light. Please share your images of Paris at night. Landscapes, portraits, street images, etc. Tip: use a constant light to light your subjects at night. Set your background exposure first, then light your subject with the right amount of light needed.
