  1. I mainly use a 35mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.4 while shooting portraits and I just used this combo as my main weapons for a wedding on Sunday. I'm looking to add the new 50mm 1.4 GM in the near future.
  2. Photographers that continuously inspire me, that I personally don’t know: Gordon Parks Terry Warfield Manny Ortiz Jared Polin PMR Jerry Lai John Branch IV Pierre Lambert Clayton Jones (“know” him, but never met) Dawn Hester Randy Brown Vanessa Joy Jeff Bottari James Reiman (chair of the photography program at my college, but we never met so I included him)
  3. Agreed. I get squirrels and rabbits frequently on my porch and side patio. I caught this one with the a7 IV and the 90mm Marco lens.
  4. I recommend the a1. But if it's out of your budget, like it is out of mine, I highly recommend the a9 or a9II for sports. I personally use the a9 paired with the 70-200 GM1 and 200-600 G for most sports that I shoot.
  5. Instagram: @devofieldsphotography I'll start following everyone when I leave work and get to my phone.
  6. Check out Sigma's 56mm 1.4 for Sony APSC e-mount. I had it combo'd with the a6000, and it's one of the best lenses I've ever used. It's so good that I didn't want to give it to my son when I gave him my a6000. lol
  7. I had the same issue while recording podcasts. I had to stop recording to the memory card while I streamed, and used my streaming platform to record the video. But I guess it depends on how/what you're shooting.
  8. Not sure if you're looking for strictly Sony or strictly prime, but I've been using the Sigma 16-28mm f2.8 C lens when I need something wider than 35mm. I absolutely love it.
  9. Thank you. I've also shot some football and a little basketball, as far as traditional sports. Non traditional sports I've photographed are MMA, jiu-jitsu, and kickboxing.
  10. Been shooting sports for less than a year and baseball is probably my favorite....so far.
