  1. I agree for me it's more about the focus capabilities then anything else. I am however getting a bit spoiled on doing a quick review in the amazing EVF. I find I'm using the LCD less and less. I have all the buttons programmed so for the most part never need to go into a menu. Worst case one button push and I have the "My Menu" in front of me to choose the several not often used options I may want to access. Sure makes life easier
  2. I consider the A7R5 to be a very complete product lacking only ONE feature that would have of course elevated it beyond the A1 which no question Sony had NO desire to do. Obviously if it had a Stacked BSI sensor it would be near ultimate for ALL photographic exploits. I get it why they left that off. It leaves room to take the A1 to heights nobody else has. Like put an AI chip in it and rid it of any of it's weaknesses. THEN and only THEN will it be truly worth $6500.00. The A7R5 ends up a more sensibly prices option.
  3. I'm having much the same experience with my new A7R5. I use the 200-600 for distance and compression in my landscapes, but also the marvelous Tamron 35-150 f2.0/2.8, what an amazing piece of glass. Handholding on this camera is a piece of cake. I don't bother with a tripod. I'm up in Southern Idaho so no shortage of amazing stuff to shoot.
