The next solar eclipse visible in the United States is April 8, 2024. Who has plans to see it?

We have a hotel reservation in Geneva, NY and I bought a solar filter for my FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS (SEL200600G)

I never thought of shooting the solar eclipse. I might try it for the first time. Do you have a recommendation on workflow, equipment and post-processing?
