I've been playing with "lifted blacks" editing for a bit and so far it has been well received. I think I like the look for boudoir, but I still really enjoy boosted contrast in most situations. What do you think of this style of edit, and if you have any to share of your own work please do so below.

Lifted blacks definitely have a following with a lot of creators as it was/is basically used to simulate 'log' footage with a bit more contrast (back in the day, aka 2010). I'd say if you like the look and your clients like it, keep it up!

I like softly lifted blacks, although I prefer softening them with levels in Photoshop and masking than upping the lower left side of curves in Lightroom. I like control when managing blacks.
