telephoto lens

Hello Together
I am a hobby photographer. I shoot with a Sony A7IV camera.
I have the lenses 16-35/4 Zeis and 24-105/4 G.
I am thinking of buying a telephoto lens.
Which would you recommend the 70-200/2.8 GM or 100-400 GM?
I like to take pictures in the mountains and also details of the mountains.
Thank you very much for your help.
Greetings from Switzerland, Erik

Hi Erik

They are both great, it really depends on how much reach you need. If you want a lot of zoom, the 100-400 is a great choice.

I agree with Tony above. Do you need the extra reach of 400mm. Many nature photographers tend to like wildlife or may eventually get into wildlife and the 100-400mm will serve you better. I personally don't see much of a reason to get a f/2.8 lens if you're taking photos of landscapes and will never shoot it at f/2.8. At that point, you're spending a lot of money on a feature you won't use. Hope that helps!
