Hello Alpha Family,

What is your favorite lens and do you still own it?

My favorite lens off all time has to be #FE 90mm F2.8 Macro G OSS it's the sharpest and most fun to shot with, I had it back in 2017 with #Alpha 6000 (a6000) and it was a lot of fun, unfortunately it got damaged and had to go with #FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS for more versatile , but hoping to get one in the futur

135mm f/1.8 GM for me. I love the low light when shooting indoor venues, especially when I'm not allowed to get closer. Also it makes the portraits so sweet (for a lack of better word).

Very lovely lens, but I think it would be hard indoors for small spaces, but great shooting babies so you don't get too close to them lol

I just got a 70-200 F2.8 GM II, and it's been a revelation. I put the 24-105 on my first camera about six months ago and loved it. I took it on my daily walks and enjoyed the versatility of being able to go wide to mild zoom in a quarter turn. I only took it off to use my PZ 16-35 F4 G for occasional landscapes, but mainly for environmental portraits and some video of musicians at recurring community event.

Here is one of my first shots with the 70-200.

Never used the 24-105 F4 but I had the ziess 24-70 F4 and it’s amazing, 70-200 is definitely a must, for now I have the old F4 but planning to upgrade sometime soon, the Alpha 7RV got all my money lol

I never had problems with small spaces, I don't think about shooting full bodies. It's great for low light too, so indoor events are a breeze with this lens.

It's so hard to say, it really depends on the need at the moment.

I really love the new GM2 lenses, the 24-70/2.8 and 70-200/2.8. The 200-600 is awesome. The 135/1.8 is incredible, so many choices!

#FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II #FE 70-200MM F2.8 GM OSS II #FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS #FE 135mm F1.8 GM

I agree Sony is not making it easy with all these great lenses, but if you don't have any lenses, and you can get only one, which one will it be?
