  1. Tom - Have you tried opening the image in Sony's own Imaging Edge program to see if it's a file issue or a Lightroom issue? It's possible the file is corrupted, but also possible that LR does not yet support the new RAW formats that the new firmware brought in.
  2. My current favorite is Hoyte van Hoytema - he most recently shot Nope, but also has done Dunkirk, Tenet, Interstellar and a number of others. I think of him as a great balance of classic and modern, with the ability to create new ways of shooting (Nope is a great example) and incredible sequences (Dunkirk and Spectre).
  3. I'm also on Capture One after a long period on LR. Generally do find that I prefer the quality, speed and look over Lightroom. I do jump out to PS regularly as well, although C1s toolset has made that somewhat less common over the last couple of updates.
  4. Hi Tanay - The USB Remote and HDMI port don't work at the same time - it's a limitation of the camera.
  5. We tend these days to shoot a lot in S-Cinetone, mostly for ease and speed. It looks really good (90%+ as good as what we'd end up grading to) and saves a ton of time not only in post but even on set, matching cameras and not having to deal with LUTs on any monitor that non-sophisticated clients are looking at. Basically for us, the juice of S-LOG/S-Gamut is not worth the squeeze over S-Cinetone.
  6. I have to say that my latest pickup, the #FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II would be my choice - I might just choose something a hair smaller, but for one-lens versatility can't beat it.
