  1. Thank you for the info and I will!
  2. Hi! I'm new here and also a fairly new photographer (in classes now in Photoshop for Photographers). I just posted in the welcome thread (I think) and the system thinks I'm spam. It said to report using the "report abuse" tool if you think it was marked spam by mistake. So I did that :D. Does that seem right? Thanks and this seems like a fun place.
  3. My name is Molly and I'm a current Photography/Photoshop student who discovered the joy of a Really Good Camera last February. (Leica Q2) Now I am never without it. My new purse is a camera sling. I'd been to amazing locations with my Nikon D70 and now I feel grief that I didn't take the plunge sooner. People say that it's the photographer, not the camera, and yeah... I think you can take a terrible image with a really good camera, but the things I can capture now give me so much latitude in the editing. (Especially in low light; I love the night and dark spaces). My brain is bubbling with ideas. It's like a drug. Now I'm practicing constantly, trying to find my voice and learn how to "see"-- the camera is definitely a creative motor. I came here for two reasons: To read reviews on the Sony DSC-RX100Vii (so I can get my husband to go on photowalks with me-- he gets bored but I think a great pocket camera would change his mind... gateway drug?) and I want a full frame camera with interchangeable lenses. I recently read two articles by photographers using Sony gear and stacking night sky photos (Rachel Jones Ross and QT Luong). Hmmmm.... Sony? Gotta find out more... So, I'm here to learn and keep the inspiration bubbling. Cheers, Molly
