For those interested in shooting more video in 2023, I wanted to share some common video focusing mistakes new video shooters make and tips to help! Let me know if you find this helpful and if you might've made some of these mistakes - I know I definitely did!

  1. Using too Wide of a Focus Point
  2. Keeping Face/Eye AF On
  3. Focus Speed / Sensitivity
  4. Not using the right subject recognition
  5. Over reliance on Touch Tracking AF
  6. Tapping Too Hard
  7. Not Locking Down Focus
