[New year, New gear]

I have fought with shooting with Sony since 2020, that's for a discussion under a different topic heading, but I have come back.  My main reason is ergonomics of the camera, my Sony A7 just felt comfortable to carry and to shoot with, which made me want to carry it more and use it more.  Welcome to the community...

[What New Locations Do You Hope To Photograph In 2023?]

Within China, I would like to make it to Inner Mongolia.  Outside of mainland China, I would like to go to Iceland and/or Thailand.  This summer I'm heading back to the US for a couple weeks and I plan on roadtripping through the south.  Not sure what to do yet, but soon, very soon...

[What's your photography resolutions for 2023?]

1) More photowalks in my city, maybe start a photo club here...Guangzhou, China.

2) Work on post editing more.

3) A book at the end of year.

4) More fun.  Stop stressing so much about the shots, gear, and/or the goal of a book at the end.  The first one is the most important one.

[Upgrade your camera or lens?]

I've always said go with glass.  With that being said I'm still shooting with Sonys first a7, so I'm afraid 2023 I'm looking to upgrade my camera body.

Hello, and happy new year to everyone.  I have been on here for awhile, haven't posted much and will redo my profile pae, but have been moving between my A7(first edition), to Ricoh, to M43.  I am thinking of moving back to FF, so I've dusted off my A7 again.  Since I teach internationally, most of my work now is travel, landscape, and architecture.  Prior to moving international, it was mostly still lifes and music...

Looking forward to reading all the SA Universe community posts and seeing what everyone else is doing.
