FX30 recording audio

My first post here. I've just acquired a new fx30 and having an audio recording challenge. I'm using a Sennheiser MKE440 stereo microphone plugged directly into the microphone port on the camera. The camera is only recording one channel. I've used the same setup with an olympus camera and both channels record no problem.

Were you using the same cable each time? What cable is that, and do you know how the cable is made (which XLR pins go to which minijack poles)?
