    Join Pro Photo Supply, Dan Hawk from Sony, and photographer Mike Vraneža for an epic trip to Eastern Oregon, where we’ll capture the Milky Way and Perseid Meteor Shower under some of the best dark sky areas in the country. We will set you up for success in shooting nighttime landscapes and Astrophotography as well as provide a demo of the day to night workflow for timelapse photography. There will be multiple pre-production meetings - held virtually - covering access and the gear required to trek out to this remote location as well as technical challenges of image making at night. With the assistance of Sony Rep Dan Hawk and Pro Photo Supply Staff, Mike will guide you through virtual scouting, review software and apps for planning, shooting with post-production in mind, and discuss what gear to use for the best results. 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM First Virtual Session - June 12th 2024 We’ll touch base to review the locations we’ll be visiting and discuss logistics, travel plans, and safety for the trip. We’ll talk through some basic camera gear options and begin reservations for trial gear requests. 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM Second Virtual Session - July 10th 2024 As the shoot gets closer, we’ll discuss camera techniques, planning approaches, and review software to help us be in the right place for the best views. The Trip August 2nd - 4th 2024 After driving out on Friday we’ll meet up for our first evening under the stars. On Saturday, you’ll have time during the day to explore the vast, surreal landscape before we meet again in the evening at our second location.
