  1. @PhotoVid If you are using Capture card, try using OBS/Vmix to crop out the overlay areas and start the streaming as OBS Virtual Camera and use the OBS Virtual Camera as the video source on Zoom. You can also try turning off the HDMI Info. Display from External Output settings as well.
  2. @bmcdonough Absolutely, I couldn't agree more! Jean's article was truly captivating, and as a sports content creator, I can totally relate to her experiences. The way she delves into storytelling and how she approaches each game with the goal of capturing a unique story, whether it's about a player, a team, or any aspect of the game, resonates deeply with my own approach. Just like Jean, many sports photographers strive to convey a narrative and capture the emotions that unfold during these moments. It's inspiring to see how her insights align with the way many of us in the field think about our work.

  5. In a realm where dreams are stitched together with the threads of dedication, passion, and sweat, the lens of a camera captured a remarkable saga at the Sharjah Cricket Academy. A series of candid and evocative photographs, each frame narrating its own tale of perseverance, camaraderie, and the undying spirit of cricket, these images managed to secure their place as finalists in the esteemed World Sports Photography Awards' Cricket Category. To add to my excitement, both of my pictures have made it to the shortlist among an astonishing number of entries—approximately 415,000 submissions from 200 countries worldwide. Link : https://www.worldsportsphotographyawards.com/winners-and-shortlists-per-year/finalists-2023 The spotlight of these frames is cast upon the young cricket enthusiasts, the heartbeat of the Sharjah Cricket Academy. These aspiring cricketers, embodying the hopes and aspirations of the sport's future, were caught in moments that reveal the immense hard work and determination they invest in their training. The images chronicle their ardent practice sessions, where each pitch, each bat swing, and each run becomes a stepping stone towards their cricketing dreams. 8 Year old Captain Yaseen of Sharjah Cricket Academy Under 10 team, wicket-keeper batsmen frustrated with one of his fielder on his misfielding. 10 Year old Ahmed of Sharjah Cricket Academy Under 12 team, left-arm fast bowler engaged in his run-up correction with the coach under the lights.
  6. Leaving behind Dubai's relentless heat, I embarked on a journey to the UK, a land of contrasts and culture. As my feet touched the verdant landscapes and my camera captured the essence of this new world, I found myself amidst a photographic paradise that perfectly juxtaposed the scorching desert I had left behind. A Warm Welcome to Hospitality The transition from the unforgiving heat of Dubai to the UK's embrace was nothing short of remarkable. The warmth of the locals' hospitality mirrored the cozy landscapes that unfolded before me. With every click of my Sony A7IV, I captured moments that illustrated the profound kindness of the people I encountered. Cultural Tapestry The UK's rich cultural tapestry unraveled before me, offering a sensory overload that I eagerly captured through my lens. The architecture, from historic castles to contemporary structures, told stories of time and evolution. My Sony A7IV preserved the intricate details that narrated the history and character of each place. The Joy in Bustling Streets Even amidst the hustle and bustle of UK streets, there was a certain charm that made each frame worthwhile. The streets teemed with life, offering an energizing atmosphere that was distinct from the peaceful landscapes. My Sony A7IV embraced the motion and emotion of these scenes, freezing moments that captured the essence of the UK's vivacity. In the end, my photographs tell a tale of transformation and exploration. From Dubai's relentless heat to the UK's vibrant landscapes, my Sony A7IV became a bridge that connected two worlds. As I look back at the snapshots I've captured, I'm reminded of the incredible journey that took me from a land of extreme temperatures to a land of extreme diversity and beauty.
  7. Central London, a city known for its vibrant energy and iconic landmarks, takes on a whole new enchanting persona under the cover of night and the gentle embrace of rain. Armed with a Sony A7IV and a versatile 24-105mm F4 G OSS Lens, in embarked on a photographic adventure that captured the city's heart in a unique way, revealing the marvelous interplay between light, rain, and urban life. There's something undeniably magical about the blend of rain and city lights – it's as if the urban landscape comes alive with its own rhythm and energy. The Sony A7IV's dynamic range ensured that even in challenging lighting conditions, we captured every nuance, from the warm golden hues of lampposts to the cool blues of neon signs. The low-light capabilities, combined with the 24-105mm lens, allowed me to embrace the darkness. These photographs don't just depict a moment in time; they encapsulate the timeless vibes that London exudes.
