Tess
Hello, I am a hobbyist photographer and, let's say it out loud, the beginner 😊. I have a question: when you purchase a brand-new SONY camera, would your mechanical shutter count says ZERO before you have taken that very first picture of yours. Thus, once you have taken this the very first picture of yours on your brand-new SONY camera, the mechanical shutter count is 1 now? Also, what is the best free online camera shutter count website you would recommend. Many thanks for your input. Best, Tess.
CarolineJensen
I think it depends. I would imagine the camera has going through quality control and thus would have shots on it already.
Tess
Thank you. I was hoping to make my the very first picture on a brand-new camera myself. The SONY factory has a reset capability, so they exercise it after any test being done. Otherwise, you never know if store, or a previous owner, says truth about the camera being the very brand-new 😞
