Question from Tony Z from our announcement thread: Thank you for sharing so many tips and behind the scenes looks for all of us! I love following your accounts and videos! My question is do you feel that you can get the same type of shots you get without having high-speed sync lights? Or do you feel high-speed sync is a must? I have great lights but they are not HSS (Einsteins) and to switch would be a pretty significant investment for a hobbyist like me.

This was such a cool story, thanks for sharing! One of my memorable photo experiences was when I was in Seattle last year. I had never been to the Space Needle and was so excited to go, but it turned out to be boring and overly crowded and I ended up having to wait in line to get in for longer than I actually stayed up at the top. Thankfully, when I bought my Space Needle tickets there was a combination deal for a sculpture garden called the Chihuly Garden and Glass. I didn't know what to expect with the garden + glass, but it turned out to be a thousand times better than the Space Needle. The combination of vibrant colors, nature and incredible art completely turned my day around. I would go back here in a heartbeat.

I like the first one myself! Seeing those little fuzzy bits of the flower makes me want to touch them to see how they would feel.
