Photography Composition Rules

I'm a bit of a rule breaker myself, but I'd love to hear if you have a favorite composition rule!

What a great question. It was tough to pick. I like them all at various times and I think we'd all agree rules are made to be broken. But when I see photos that I really like, I'm often jealous of how the photographer used framing in their composition. It's something I don't see and I have to really work at it. Thanks!

I am definitely a rule breaker. I love a strong centered, square composition. I love to print squares too.

out of these composition rules, I usually have trouble seeing special leading line scenarios aside from the basic symmetry. But I think I tend to lean towards framing and thirds.

I love working with all those rules and I love breaking all those rules. 🙂 I think leading lines is what I admire most in others.
