    My advice, if you have the cash, it to buy a top-line polarizer for each lens. I learned my lesson the hard way years ago when I dropped two $350 Singh-Rays on Yosemite's unforgiving granite...

    I just returned from co-teaching 2 Monument Valley Workshops with Ron Modra. Christmas came early as my new Sony a7RV was waiting for me. I just set-up the menu yesterday and can't wait to try the Focus Bracketing and the new BULB Timer. What are your favorite new features?

    I had my Sony a7III converted to 720nm for dramatic B&W's. Love it with all the blank blue sky days we have out here in California

    I will be in Iceland for three plus weeks next month leading two workshops with fellow Artisan Gary Hart!

    Pinnacles is not far from me - it can be hot there in the summer and is a lot of walking to get to the high peaks but is worth the effort. My advice is to start early in the morning. Yosemite high country is best in the summer. Two excellent choices!

    I was just there for two weeks leading a workshop with my partner Ron Modra - got everything you are talking about - I highly recommend the Highlands and Isle of Lewis and Harris!

    I am currently in Monument Valley along the Utah/Arizona border. I'm hosting two workshops along with Sports Illustrated legendary photographer Ron Modra. We will be shooting the night sky soon with the legendary Mittens and Merrick Butte. What is your favorite location for night photography?

    I am currently in Monument Valley teaching the second of two workshops with Ron Modra. We have had snow out here already and another storm is on its way!
