That really depends…ideally not much. For a typical senior shoot I usually put a standard present on the photos, adjust the exposure if need be, crop them and move on.

Sometimes I do shoot for composites or retouch a photo more intensively if its for my web site or an important post, but I try to get it right in camera 100% of the time unless its a special circumstance.

My clients are always amazed when I show them the back of the camera because they think I photoshop everything, and thats just not the case.

That being said, I am a trained graphic designer and do enjoy post SOMETIMES…just not ALL the time haha.
